Cumin – Plum – Patchouli

Off to the Swiss border with the Risoud scented candle, a tribute to the largest forest in Europe. This fir forest, located between France and Switzerland, is cherished by violin makers for its exceptional wood.

The glass, with a deep red color reminiscent of gemstones, is created by dipping the molten glass into natural pigments and then wrapping it with a vertical glass thread. The decoration appears at the moment the candle is blown, the result of meticulous craftsmanship mastered by the artisans.

The fragrance opens with the warm intensity of cumin, a spicy and enveloping note that evokes the depth of the forest. At its heart, plum adds a fruity, dark, and velvety touch, giving way to a rich base of patchouli with a deep woody scent. A mysterious and elegant composition, just like the Risoud Forest itself: wild, precious, and full of character.

The quality of the scented candles requires a specific burning ritual. Each time you light the candle, it is important to wait until the entire surface has melted before extinguishing it. This prevents the formation of tunnels, which are unattractive and make burning more difficult later on.

The first time you light your candle, it will always burn longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow the first layer of wax enough time to melt completely. The amount of time this takes depends on the size of the candle.

Also make sure not to burn the last 2 cm of wax, as the glass may crack if the flame burns against it.
