Kivi (the Finnish word for stone) are little gems of light designed in 1988 by Heikki Orvola. The tealight holders enrich the light of the flame and make it even more intense. Iittala's glass specialists make Kivi from through-and-through coloured glass, instead of painting the glass on the outside. This makes the colour particularly rich. Kivi is available in various colours, each made according to a proprietary Iittala recipe.
